Drop Forged Rivetless chains are commonly found in Overhead applications as well as floor conveyors. At Precision Chains we’ve built our legacy based on quality and durability, with years of service and countless installations proving their reliability. Chain components are drop-forged from high-strength steel, precision-forged, and finely finished. This advanced manufacturing process makes Precision Chains stronger than those made from standard carbon steel. The result is a chain with an exceptionally smooth pin bearing surface, reducing the initial break-in period and providing seamless operation.

Inspection.
Every Precision Chain link goes through 100% inspection process to verify hardness. Each component also undergoes rigorous on-line dimensional inspection, with data captured and backed by computerized systems to meet strict quality assurance standards.
All parts of Precision Chains are hardened to resist wear, corrosion, abrasive action, and shock loads, delivering exceptional durability and reliability in demanding environments.
The rivetless chain benefits from a robust and simple construction with good strength to weight ratio making the chain type a good choice for use with overhead trolleys, scraper flights and assembly conveyors. Both Standard and X style are offered in alloy steel. The X series is bi- directional flexing both horizontally and vertically making it most suitable for overhead systems with vertical curves. There are a plethora of attachments available with this chain allowing a large variety of applications.
